The Plockton Hotel

We are a family-run hotel & restaurant involving ourselves and son Alan - who is also the chef. Our cooking is traditionally Scottish - simply done and well presented using the best of local produce.

We use the very best of Highland produce around us - locally caught langoustines, shellfish from Skye, fresh West Coast fish landed at Gairloch and Kinlochbervie and smoked fish from our favourite smokehouse at Aultbea. The very best best of Highland Beef is supplied by our butcher in Dingwall. In recognition of our commitment to the highest standards, we have received the Talisker Quality Award. Additionally, this year we were delighted to win the AA Best Pub for Scotland Award 2003/04, and the Les Routiers Best Pub for Scotland Award 2003/04.

We have recently gained a Scottish Healthy Choices Award by which our menus must offer increased choice by adding and identifying healthier alternatives prepared in a healthier way. At The Plockton, we also have a selection of fine wines to compliment the meal.
