The Castle Course Clubhouse was officially opened by HRH The Duke of York in 2008. The striking circular building sits atop Kinkell Ness and offers spectacular views out over St Andrews Bay and the Auld Grey Toun itself. With a wood panelled interior and a central atrium bathed in natural light the clubhouse provides a warm welcome to golfers and visitors. The restaurant features a glass wall allowng diners to gaze out to the north sea as they enjoy their meal. In 2009, the clubhouse received an award in recognition of its outstanding design from St Andrews Preservation Trust.
